Others post on job boards weeks after posting internally. Checking career pages directly means you find opportunities others miss and you can apply before the competition piles up.

Complete these steps
Go to each company's website For each company on your list go to their official website. Look for a link in the header or footer that says Careers, Jobs, Work With Us, or Join Our Team.
Bookmark their careers page Save each careers page as a bookmark in a Careers Pages folder in your browser. You will check these weekly throughout your job search.
Check for open roles Search for roles that match your target position. Even if nothing matches right now note the page and check back weekly.
Note any interesting roles If you find a match add it to your job search tracker with the posting URL and date found.
Look for a "General Application" option Some companies have a form to submit your resume even when there are no open roles. If a company is a strong target for you submit a general application introducing yourself and expressing interest.
