Research 5 More Target Companies
Your target company list from Week 1 was a starting point. This week you expand it. The more companies you are actively tracking the more opportunities you have access to and the less dependent you are on any single application or lead.

Step by Step
Search for new companies using different methods Try these approaches you may not have used in Week 1:
Search LinkedIn Companies filtered by industry, location, and company size
Look at "Similar Companies" on the LinkedIn pages of companies already on your list
Check industry-specific job boards or directories
Ask people in your network which companies they respect in your field
Research each new company For each of the 5 new companies:
Visit their website and read their About page
Find and bookmark their careers page
Follow them on LinkedIn
Check for open roles that match your target position
Add them to your tracker Log them in your Company Research tab with the same information as your Week 1 companies.
Tips for success
Pay attention to companies that are growing. Look for news about funding rounds, expansions, new product launches, or hiring announcements.
Smaller companies with 50 to 200 employees often move faster and give you more direct access to decision makers.
Check the company's Glassdoor reviews to get a sense of the culture before investing time in applying.
