Total applications submitted across both weeks

Total follow-ups sent

Total networking messages sent

Total alumni connections made

Total responses received

Informational interviews requested and completed

Recruiter connections made

Calculate your response rate. Divide responses by total applications and multiply by 100.

For recent graduates a response rate of 3 to 8% in the first two weeks is normal. Do not be discouraged by low numbers early on. The market for entry-level roles is competitive and persistence is what separates candidates who land jobs from those who give up.
