WEEK 1DAY 1TASK 4

WHY THIS MATTERS

Job searching is one of the most emotionally challenging experiences a person can go through. Rejection is common, progress feels slow, and self-doubt creeps in. Starting with a strong mindset foundation means you are more likely to stay consistent, show up confidently in interviews, and bounce back from setbacks faster.

ACTION PLAN

Complete these steps

1
Step 1

Write down 3 things you bring to any employer Think about your skills, experience, work ethic, personality, and unique perspective. What do you do better than most people? What have colleagues or managers praised you for?

Examples:

"I am extremely organized and never miss a deadline"

"I have a talent for explaining complex technical concepts simply"

"I build strong relationships quickly with clients and teammates"

2
Step 2

Write down your biggest career win What is one thing you accomplished in your career that you are genuinely proud of? It doesn't have to be huge. It just has to be real.

3
Step 3

Write a one-sentence confidence statement Combine the above into one sentence you can say to yourself before interviews, networking calls, or hard days.

Example: "I am a skilled marketing professional with a track record of growing brand awareness and I bring creativity, data skills, and dedication to every team I join."

4
Step 4

Save this somewhere visible Put it in your phone notes, stick it on your monitor, or save it in your Rising Careers profile. Read it every morning this week.
